Oh. The typical "MySpace" tell me about yourself section. What is there to say? This whole site is...about me. I love cooking. I love my son. Life gets no better than that. So why not capture it in film and share my happiness with the world.

Long Awaited 5th Week/Relaxer Pics

Friday, April 10, 2009

Ok soo....I'm really in shock right now. I had nooo idea what condition my hair was in until I took pics and went back and looked at my day 1 pics. Before I post the pictures...Keep in mind it's only been a month and visible changes have been made.

Ok so this is my Day 1 Picture. You can clearly see how damaged my hair was and my split ends were crying for help. This is my picture from today. The official start of my 5th week using Aphogee products and my first relaxer since switching to Aphogee. You can VERY clearly see how healthier it's gotten. And then length?? I'm shocked.

So I trimmed my hair first and I did my relaxer like I usually do. I used a TCB relaxer. I actually ended up using the last of what I had and I'm thinking about switching to a new relaxer. Haven't decided yet tho. But! My haaaaair was soooo thick prior to my relaxer...Guess What?! I broke a comb LMAO. I haven't broken a comb...since I was a little girl. Smh.

But anyway...my relaxer took soooo well this time. I'm not used to it taking as good as it did. From these pics you can see how relaxed my new growth got. I was amazed as I was washing my hair.

So after I washed my hair. I put in my Cantu Oil Moisturizer. About a quarter size amount for my whole head, my Green Tea Restructorizer, my Leave-In and my Pink Glosser. Then I let it air dry for about a hour then I blow dried it. After I blow dried it I flat ironed it.

I am sooo happy...and more motivated now to keep this up. I'm easily unmotivated...and pictures do not lie. There seriously has been a change in the condition in my hair...and I LOVE IT.

Thanks everyone for supporting me and stopping by. I'll post another blog soon. I promise I won't go as long as the last 1. I've just been busy. *smooches :)
