Oh. The typical "MySpace" tell me about yourself section. What is there to say? This whole site is...about me. I love cooking. I love my son. Life gets no better than that. So why not capture it in film and share my happiness with the world.

Drug Store Find : Review

Wednesday, May 20, 2009

So I was in Rite-Aid this past weekend shopping around for a good box relaxer. Even though I absolutely LOVE Dr. Miracle's boxed relaxer...I needed something a tad bit cheaper. I picked up the original Soft & Beautiful relaxer then I picked up the "Ultimate Protection" series and noticed that this one came with oils that you put into the relaxer mix. That intrigued me...so..duuuh I bought it. Let me just say that this is more than likely going to be my relaxer for a loooong time. It didn't burn my scalp...AT ALL. Which is kind of weird..because I know for a fact I caught my self pokin at my head in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. I actually forgot I had it in my hair. If I wouldn't have set my timer...

Anyway..it washed out well..the conditioner that came with it made my hair butter smooth and it was still butter smooth after I rinsed it out. Detangling...took like half a second and I only lost like 3 strands of hair lol. But that can also be from my Aphogee regime. Idk. ([*sidenote* my hair is soooo healthy compared to 2 months ago. I only had split ends in the back..mainly because my hair sits on my neck all day...yup...it's grown. lol.])

But...I never do reviews on relaxers...just never been serious enough for me...but I felt the need to share my experience because I absolutely loved it. It was $8.99 at Rite-Aid and at the register it was on sale for $7.99. Dr. Miracles retails for $9.99. So...yup. Lol.
