Oh. The typical "MySpace" tell me about yourself section. What is there to say? This whole site is...about me. I love cooking. I love my son. Life gets no better than that. So why not capture it in film and share my happiness with the world.

Hairy Situations: What Is Co-Washing?

Tuesday, June 23, 2009

Watch the vid : (Hairy Sits.)

What is Co-washing ?

Co-washing is a way to clean the hair only instead using conditioner in place of shampoo.

How to Co-Wash?

Washing in the shower is easiest. Just like you would use your shampoo, use the conditioner instead. Apply conditioner (any cheapie conditioner will do), lather (1 or 2 times), rinse. Then apply a better quality type of conditioner and let it sit on your hair while you shower. When done showering, rinse hair thoroughly and get out the shower. Simple.

How often you co-wash is up to you. Some people co-wash 1-3 times a week and then shampoo wash once a week, bi-weekly, or even just once a month.
